"Air con didnt work. Apparently expedia should have notified us. Windows were screwed shut. Hotel is in a great location for gunwharf but definitely needs some work doing as tired and bathroom smells."

"Booked last minute and it was a real treat! The stuff was lovely the room turned out to be a 2 bedroom flat (without the kitchen!) Ive never had a vegan burrito for breakfast but I would have it again! Location very convenient to reach the seafront and the bus stop and parking was relatively easy to find"

"Location was great. Secure parking at a reasonable price. When we checked in they told us we'd been upgraded to a more modern room in a different building. The room was really nice, clean, comfortable and a good size ensuite but noise was an issue. The building we were in is a converted house so we could hear everything from the room above us including kids stamping and running around and shouting. Reception did call the room and ask them to be respectful of other guests though. We were also directly opposite a pub which had loud music and drunk people shouting and jeering until around 1am and that wasn't fun. The room was very warm with no air con or fan so we had to open a window making the choice between noise or sweating. I wouldn't have chosen a hotel opposite a pub so it turned out to be not so much of an upgrade. We wouldn't stay here again"

"Great location two minutes walk from the seafront. Functional premises, no frills, room was clean and comfortable. There are NO ensuite facilities here, large kitchen area with fridges, microwave, kettle and toaster. Very acceptable for a short undemanding stay."
