"Son emplacement est super, personnel super gentil. Pour y être allée en 2014, je trouvais qu'il manquait d'amour au niveau de la déco. Une petite mise à jour s'imposerait peut-être. Sinon très bien"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Testana?
The best area to stay in Testana is the Old Town, particularly around Piazza della Chiesa. This area is the historical heart of Testana, characterised by its narrow, winding cobblestone streets and well-preserved mediaeval architecture. The Piazza della Chiesa, dominated by the Parish Church of San Giovanni Battista, serves as a natural gathering point, with several small cafes and local shops nearby. From here, you're only a short walk to the panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Ligurian Sea.For couples, the Old Town offers a romantic and tranquil setting. You can enjoy leisurely strolls through charming alleyways, discover hidden courtyards, and dine at intimate trattorias offering authentic Ligurian cuisine. The ease of access to cultural sites and picturesque views makes it an ideal base for a relaxed holiday.Travellers looking for a more activity-focused stay might consider accommodations slightly outside the immediate Old Town, closer to the coastal road.
When is the best time to go to Testana?
The best time to go to Testana is typically from late spring (May-June) through early autumn (September-October), when the weather is warm and pleasant for exploring.May and June offer comfortable temperatures, ideal for walking along the coast or through the town's historic centre without the intense heat of mid-summer. The Ligurian landscape is particularly lush during this period, and you'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months. This makes it a great time for couples looking for a relaxed getaway. For those who enjoy warmer sea temperatures and a livelier atmosphere, July and August are popular, though Testana can be quite busy. If you're planning a family holiday, these months provide plenty of sunshine for beach days and water activities. You'll find many local festivals and events happening, particularly in the evenings.September and October bring a beautiful transition, with mild temperatures that are still lovely for outdoor activities. The sea remains warm enough for swimming into early autumn, and the grape harvest season adds a local flavour to the experience.
