We arrived in Melbourne after travelling ariund Europe for almost four weeks. Just needed a place to stay in transit for one night. This hotel turned out to be the best we had stayed in during our holiday. We arrived late at night and the night manager and other staff went out of their way to get us quickly to our room. Very nice spacious room. Also very quiet. Totally surprised when they offered a shuttle service to the airport the next morning. Would stay here again if in transit.

It’s a new hotel and rooms were clean. Convenient location within Melbourne shopping precinct. Stayed on 7th floor corner room therefore some street noise could be heard. Only issue is where the TV was placed in an odd location in the middle at the end of the bed which was a safety hazard as you can hit your head against it. Tram stop is just right in front at Elizabeth street.

After check in and learning the indoor pool and spa heater was not working I was prepared to pack my bags and leave as having the heated pool facility was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. However, everything else about the hotel was great and I knew it would be hard to find another hotel at such short notice on par with the Pegasus Hotel. To my surprise I received a phone call from the Manager the second day which was a welcomed surprise. Not only was she very apologetic about the...
