Staff was very friendly and helpful. They found out that it was my dad's birthday and gave some cookies and wine to him for free. The room is spacious and clean. Bed is big and comfy. Location wise it is not really in the inner city area but the place is nice and quiet. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well. 10/10 will go back and stay.

The room was spacious and the location is very assessable to most of the tourist spots.in addition, the breakfast had a wide range of choices every day. However, the hotel is a bit dated.

Great Hotel.
2nd time we have stayed here. Good welcome, great panoramic corner room, very spacious, very clean, maid service every day, we were more than looked after by the fantastic staff at breakfast every day. Very convenient location to visit anywhere in and around Taipei city, 3-4 minutes from the MRT station, lots of shops and restaurants in the location. We will visit again.

Most staffs are polite but one lady staff was quite moody during b/f service ! Very good Concierge Staffs who are very polite & helpful !

The property smelled musty like it had water damage or a mould problem. Staff were wonderful though. Maybe we just were on a bad floor

A home in Banqiao
This hotel amazed us in many ways. Altho you can see its age and condition not being the top, I do feel the old-fashioned grand hotel ambience and 5 star services in all small details. The bed is comfy, with bathtub is huge, our corner room is lovely, the small card from the clean lady let us feel welcoming, breakfast is varied and delicious. It is the hotel we will choose again when we visit Banqiao in the future. (We were also in Hilton Banqiao and Caesar hotel, but here we felt more hospitable and „home“!)
