"This rental is centrally located for all the sights in Ortigia, and right next to Syracuse. The unit was as described .The view of the water is spectacular. You will want to bring paper products for the kitchen. The check-in/check-out times are not firm. Italy takes garbage separation very seriously."

"This property is GORGEOUS and in the right are: not too in the thick of tourism, but not completely out of it.
My gripe is with Wonderful Italy in general and the impossibly slow or broken internet at the property.
Upon arriving to Ortegia two hours prior to check-in, the team was TERRIBLE at communicating. Before arriving they couldn’t let us know if we could check-in early, but once we arrived, they provided the worst directions to their office to store our luggage. We literally had to...

"Overall, a nice apt for a couple or with a small family. The owners were very nice and available to answer all our questions and solve all our issues. The activity on the street is as you would expect in the heart of an old European city.
All the amenities worked. But, as Americans visiting a foreign land, and not knowing all the quirks and functionality of an Italian home, we wish we had more info up front. That is, which buttons and switches do what.
Our only real complaint is the bed...
