"The view of the lake was so relaxing. The Cabin is definitely old. But it could have been cleaner. There were spider webs inside by the fireplace, dust and dirt under the furniture. And on the small porch the table and chairs were dirty as was the grill. Also when the 1st person would take a shower they ran out of hot water so the next person had to wait for it to regenerate. But we stayed there to be right on the lake and it was only for 3 nights so we managed. The land was great just the cabin...

"Everything was clear in the description and there were written instructions in the rental that were easy to follow. The home was spotless, easy to find and an excellent price. This was our second time staying there. Everything there to make a vacation special. We will stay there again if we go that way."

"Great piece of property. We loved our stay and everything was very nice. Size, space and location were perfect. Just a few housekeeping notes. The appliances need fixing. The door on the stove does not stay closed. Someone must have stood or sat on the door. So sad when people don't respect other people's property. You are not able to use the oven without holding the door shut the whole time. The Refrigerator and freezer doors refuse to stay closed, resulting in the compressor running constantly...

"This property was home to our group of 8 golfers this past weekend. All of the guys really enjoyed the setting. Fishing from the dock. Paddling the kayaks on the Crystal River. Sitting around the campfire. Watching the big TV in the family room. Eating meals in the screened-in porch while overlooking the river. "Loved this property. Comfortable, roomy, perfectly equipped home with million dollar views of sparkling aquamarine Torch Lake. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning as well as glorious sunsets! Had fun playing pool in the game room and shopping in the sweet town of Alden during our one rainy day. "Very nice and roomy studio apartment style place. Kitchen and bath separate from bedroom. Nice location only a few minutes from downtown. Only complaint is there are two units in the building and the sound travels through the walls very easily. Also, the other unit is not a studio and it utililizes the upstairs, above the bedroom. Every footstep and floorboard creak can be heard. Other than that, great place!"
