Mooloolaba in January
Always a good time-out at the Pacific. Comfortable with a great location. New pool and surrounding area very well rebuilt in 2023. We will keep returning when in area.

Perfect spot to access the Main Street and beach perfect for watching fireworks from the balcony on new years. Easy walk to everything and Coles is just around the corner makes this place an excellent choice if you don’t want to be driving everywhere. Apartments are clean and tidy and with three units per floor it was also nice and quiet. Highly recommend.

My family of 4, 2 adults & 2 young children, stayed for the weekend and we could not fault it. Views from room 42 were stunning, the apartment itself has had a beautiful renovation. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Comfortable bedding, spacious living area & the pool area was perfect for the kids to splash around too. Highly recommend! Thank you.

Thanks Kevin for your review. We understand that you had troubles getting here and had to cancel on the day of arrival. It would be similar to catching a flight or any type of travel which is why many providers have booking terms and conditions and insurance companies offer travel insurance.

The property was faultless. I am loath to add anything that could be improved upon -,maybe an air fryer. And maybe a non slip mat in the soa bath . We would return to this property anytime that the opportunity presents itself.

Even after booking 6 months ahead, our request for a higher floor unfortunately wasn't able to be provided. This meant that our balcony was pool adjacent so privacy became an issue and we werent able to use the balcony as feeely as we would have liked. We have stayed for the past 3 easter holidays and staff are always friendly and property always maintained.

Spacious, but room was pretty run down. Sliding door to balcony could barely open. Noticed that some of the plates in the cupboards werent washed at all, and unfortunately had a couple of cockroaches and ants appear in the room during our stay.

Excellent location and view but common areas and the apartment itself very tired and decor pretty dreary. Also pretty hard to find the entry. Esplanade address but Reception and entry tucked around the back in First Ave.

Parking issues
The unit is old and needs updating . The staff were friendly . The parking is extremely tight , we asked to see if we could park in another spot and we’re another spot . Definitely not a car park for big cars (Ranger) Very centrally placed for local bars / restaurants .

Great weekend
The actual apartment was amazing and very modern but unless you are an SUV the driveway is difficult to navigate without scraping the underneath of the car.

The kitchen was amazing, very large with 180° views of beach. Furniture comfortable. Room spacious. Our room was a little dated but was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend 👌.

Great hopes turning sour
We had 5 nights at the property, staying in ap 14. We liked the place on our arrival, leaving a very good review on Hotels.com site.The receptionist was friendly, helpful and our check in easy. Unfortunately we had a huge problem with the WiFi in our apartment from the day one, very weak and dropping off constantly, working only a bit in a lounge room, not anywhere else, but it went worse, we have lost it completely on a third day of our stay. We were reporting this problems for 3 days to the staff members but have been told that there is a problem they can do nothing about, they were upgrading the system. They told us to call 1300# which we did twice and the technician said that he`ll fix it on this day but he didn't. Next day we called again and he said that he`ll fix it in an hour but he didn't, obviously he was not telling the truth.This problem should have been resolved by the manager and not passed on to us to deal with. We heard from the people who stayed on higher floors that they had no WiFi problems but we were allocated the room on a ground floor with the knowledge that there are ongoing WiFi interruptions, the receptionist and manager were aware of it and told us so. Just to mention that the sofa was big but old and very uncomfortable to sit on, we had to use the chairs. Unfortunately because of all this problems, our stay at the PB Resort, turned out to be a stressful and disappointing one. Ask questions before you book your next holiday at the PB Resort.

Great location but property itself is a little tired and cleaning is not the greatest. We also booked the apartment as advertised as 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms but on arrival found it only had 1 bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay. I took my 3 kids for a special holiday to Australia zoo by myself. The hotel staff were so friendly and very helpful which made this holiday even better. The rooms were perfect for our needs. Magnificent ocean views. We didn’t hire a car and I found I didn’t need to. The hotel is easy walking distance to Coles and the hotel had everything we needed to cook our meals which saved us $$$! Easy walk to the beautiful beach, close to great coffee and ice cream! The taxi to Australia Zoo was expensive, but waaay cheaper than hiring a car. Strongly recommend Pacific Beach Resort for an easy and fun getaway.
