"I stayed 8 nights at the Grand Chancellor hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to requests. We stayed around Christmas time and received Christmas Card and gifts for the children. Such a nice personal touch for a festive time away from home. Location is excellent, walking distance to museums, ferries and pick up for day tours. The Tasman Restaurant served excellent food. We dined there for numerous dinners and the complex...

"Close to Salamanca Place, as hotel nam suggests. Not a hotel room but a fully equipped 1 bedroom apartment, fabulous bathroom with both hydro bath and shower area plus washing machine, nice kitchen/lounge/diner with 2 plate hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Shall try booking again if I get back to Tasmania."

"Staff were very helpful, the place is at the perfect location on everything from restaurants, bus stops, pier, Salamanca Market, shops, tour pickups, etc. Breakfast were excellent, hotel bar and restaurant were a bonus. Having a laundry outside our room were very helpful."
