"Had a very enjoyable stay."

"The shower was very small and no handrails in the bathroom. There three steps to the front door and no banister. I could not sit on the little front porch due to the bees in the bushes. The unit was clean except for the large air vent in the wall. I was disappointed."

"Unit was very clean and smelled nice. Kitchen had what you needed to cook small meals. All directions from the owner were very well conveyed and easy to understand. The only thing that I wish I did know was, this unit is on top of a mountain."

"Everything was good overall. Great location, gorgeous view, comfortable, nice new bathrooms, except Fire place was not working. Walls were thin, windows wouldn’t all close, floors creaked every step. Just didn’t seem well made structurally. Safe but old. "

"Condo was clean and well stocked. Some bulbs were burnt out in the kitchen, but overall, it was a great condo. I really hope we can return sometime in the future. "

"Great property ! Close to slopes , banner elk , Boone , and the blue ridge parkway. Great hikes , waterfalls , and amusements are all close by. Easy instructions for the running of the house and exiting as well . All around great experience. Would rent again in a heartbeat."

"The place is nice and secluded. I loved the fireplace and the jacuzzi tub was nice after being on the slopes all day. Not as good of a view of the slopes as advertised. The entrance was covered in ice when I arrived and I had to use a plastic shovel that was left there so that I would be able to walk through a portion of it without falling. This was a safety hazard all weekend. A bag of trash was sitting by the entrance when I arrived and all weekend. And the microwave didn't work initially until I fixed it the second morning. I left my pillow and called Vascasa to let them know a few hours later and I was promised someone would call me right back so I could go back and get it since I was in town but no one did and I had to leave. I probably won't choose to stay in this unit again when I visit Sugar. And I may not choose Vascasa due to the lack of communication about the pillow."
