"We had a wonderful stay! The Homestay is set in the mountains with the village just down the hill. We felt welcomed into the home and the village. The property overlooks a lovely rice field and the mountains. The room was clean and tidy. Motor bikes and tours are able to be setup at the property. "My wife and I and my wife's sister stayed in one of the 2-BR villas at Dusun Bedugul Asri in September 2025. We were very satisfied with our stay there. We went to the area because we wanted to see the Bali Botanical Garden, which is nearby. It was a bit too far to walk, but the hotel quickly arranged a good driver for us. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully landscaped. It's actually like a miniature botanical garden. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food was excellent."
"We recently spent a week in a pool villa at Ayung Resort and had an incredible time. The location is breathtaking, nestled right in the jungle, and we were thrilled to see monkeys and other wildlife right from our room. We were particularly impressed with the staff and the high level of service. The food was delicious and the spa was a wonderful, relaxing experience. Although some of the facilities are a little dated and could use some maintenance, this didn't detract from our stay. "I stayed at the Mason Park Lodge and it was exquisite from being picked up from my balcony by an elephant for my first dinner to seeing a white peacock with its tail out and 3 giant tortoises on my last day. Everything was very convenient with a beautiful scene at every turn from lush foliage to beautiful wildlife. I was surprised that the menu at the restaurant seemed ordinary in comparison to the surroundings, however the food was well cooked and presented with as with everything else wonderful smiling service. Of course there were elephants at every turn, truely a memorable stay and experience."
