This was my second and was as fantastic as the first. Internet connection wasn’t great, but was quickly rectified by staff.

Good property, old but good

A beautiful hotel set in a wonderful rolling garden with great facilities including a pool, spa and gym. The service was fantastic and we genuinely wished we had longer at the hotel.

The age of the property and its uniqueness.it would be nice if there was some history of the property displayed.

The prefect stay. Staff were very friendly, the room and public areas were spotless. The bar and meal service was fantastic and the quality of food was excellent. A beautiful building, a lovely place!! 10 out of 10

Myself, my husband and two year old stayed at the Alona this summer. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. The staff were lovely, the room was perfect, location was perfect and the food was great.

Very nice stay great breakfast , excellent staff

We had a lovely stay The Torrance Hotel. From a cheerful and welcoming check-in, our room was warm , welcoming and beautifully appointed. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Highly recommend the full Scottish breakfast.

Would come back again!

Here’s a polished, ready-to-post review: Crossbasket Castle & Hotel has to be one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The room was absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed and elegantly decorated and the bathroom was spacious and luxurious. Breakfast was outstanding, with fantastic quality and choice. Most of all, the service truly stood out: every member of staff was attentive, welcoming, and professional. A wonderful experience from start to finish, and we would definitely recommend...

I really liked this hotel. I didn’t notice any major issues, and overall it felt well run and comfortable. The location is excellent, with about a five-minute walk to the central station, around ten minutes to Queen Street station, and a subway nearby, so getting around is extremely convenient. The quality is very good. It’s clean, well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The setup seems to combine hotel guests and students, but it didn’t cause any problems, and everyone seemed...

The host and staff were so welcoming and friendly. The room was also spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was great with amazing hot water and great pressure.

Charming B and B in quiet location. We arrived late after a late ferry from Ireland but no trouble to get access. Owner even made us a cup of tea and provided some home made cake etc. Room charming, larger than expected and with a separate breakfast room.tv room what a treat.
