"Only stayed two nights, but it was a nice trip. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Loved the coffee that came with the continental breakfast. I would stay here again. "
"They were under construction outside but they did not work while we were there, pool construction not complete yet. Someone had logged off from the television channels, but we did not request anyone come and fix it. I am sure they would have! Great stay!"
"My family and I stayed at this property and really enjoyed ourselves. I think our favorite parts of our stay were the screened in porch and the hassle free walk to the beach. Unfortunately one of our days got rained out but we felt safe and comfortable inside of the house. "

"My wife and I stayed here this past weekend (Late Sept 2025). It was spot on in all aspects from cleanlessness to bed comfort. Bill and Veda were very hospitable and their breakfast was tasty perfect for a day's start. HIGHLY recommended!!"
"Great view for the Partial Ocean View. Could watch the sunrise from the balcony each day. Easy access to the beach and great location for everything else in OBX. Included breakfast was extra bonus. The hall and room carpet along with the room furniture, though newer, was a bit worn though. Would still stay again."

"We loved our vacation in OBX. It was our first time in OBX and it won't be our last. There was plenty of room for my husband and I, two adult children, and our dog. Specifically, we absolutely loved staying in at this condo unit. It was top notch. The pictures don't do it justice. It was beautifully decorated and spacious. The beds/mattresses were super comfortable! The kitchen had everything we needed. Dishes, glassware, cookware, cutlery all plentiful. All of the appliances worked properly. I especially like sitting out on the deck in the lounge chair and eating at the high-top table. First Flight is such a beautiful complex. It offered so many amenities including the pool, large grass area, boardwalk to the beach, outdoor shower, gym, and game room. Parking was never a problem. Honestly, the unit and complex are a 10/10. If I could give 20/10, I would. First in Flight was close to many good restaurants and stores yet not in a congested area. Many towns in OBX are a distance from restaurants and stores. I highly recommend staying at this unit in Kill Devil Hills. Very dog friendly. Big grassy area and a boardwalk that leads to the beach! "
