"Wish I was staying more nights at the Dakota. Will def check it out again when I am in Edinburgh. Everything about the hotel was top notch. Molton Brown toiletries, yummy cookies and tea/coffee, linen exceptional, front desk and all staff courteous and helpful. I didn't use the restaurant or bar but it looked posh. The best thing is, if you need to get to or from the airport, they have a pickup and drop off service. Make sure you walk down into Queensferry (10 minutes from the hotel). It's beautiful with lovely restaurants and shops as well as history and a view that is not to be missed. Also the lovely shaggy dog statue as you arrive in the hotel warmed my heart. Being a dog lover it was welcoming and whimsical."

"I stayed here for two nights and there was a few things I was happy with. When booking double bed, I didn’t like having two single beds pushed together. The carpet was filthy with hair everywhere. A positive is the scent of the body wash and shampoo. Very good shower"

"So close to the airport that we didn’t need a taxi, which was why we chose it. We walked to it from the car rental return (of note, there’s also a Holiday Inn Express near by and we accidentally started heading in that direction). When dropping off our luggage, additional signs would be helpful as the entrance to the hotel was close to the airport parking and was confusing. Didn’t notice any noise from the airport during the hours that we were there. King bed had an uncomfortable seam but was ok if we weren’t directly on it. Would stay here again!"

"I've stayed at this hotel many times. It is consistently good and seems to keep the same staff. There is always entertainment at the weekends which is great if you've been shopping and want to relax in the bar after a meal in their very good restaurant. I take my niece for a treat. She particularly enjoys the pool area as it is a good hotel for families."
