"Clean room, quick service friendly and kind 5 stars"

"The facilities were excellent. Stove, full fridge with freezer. However, the pillows were as hard as a rock and there was no cell service in the room. I have a 99 year old mother in an assisted living home that needs to contact me frequently. If they had tried during my stay, they wouldn't have been able to get me."

"We checked in around 6:30pm. No problem other than the fact that half of the registration sheet I had to sign was not legible - low toner which they did not bother to replace. As we walked upstairs to our room, the stench of the carpet and hallway was just nasty. The uneven and squeaky floor did not help. When we opened the door into our room, we found that another family (with kids) were already checked into that room. How was this possible?? This is an old style hotel where an actual KEY was needed to get into the room. The story we were told was that the ones who were checked in already got the wrong date. Their reservation was for the following weekend?? Again, how is that possible?? So, we were told they would need an hour to clean up the room and have it available for us. OK, but they did not have luggage storage and we would need to take them with us or leave in the room with the current occupants??? Cut to us being back in the room, there were yellow stains on two of the beds and hair on the sheets…don’t think they actually changed the sheets. These are very THIN sheets that show stains in the mattresses. Too late to complain and we were tired so tried to sleep. Walls are very THIN and old floors were creaky. We can hear other guests (?) stomping in at night and the stomps of early risers as well. So yeah, we did not get good sleep. Luckily, we only needed the place for one night! And that the front desk guy did offer 50% off. "

"This cozy room/suite was clean, conveniently located to the airport, reasonably priced so it suited our purpose for an over night stay. "

"The room was okay for 1 or 2 people. The only downside for us was there was no kitchen or kitchen sink, there was just a mini fridge and a microwave. Dishes were there but no dishcloth or tea towel, plus you have to wash them in the bathroom sink (which was okay, and we did using a face cloth) but there was no counter space to put the wet dishes on. Upside was it had a nice backyard greenspace to relax in, a dedicated parking space, and it was close to many amenities."

"Nice place, fantastic bathroom - 5star! It has a better rain shower than most 5star hotels we’ve stayed in. Very clean. Pet friendly. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to Richmond’s vibrant food outlets. Could use an extra chair in the bedroom because there’s only one and no real lounging area in the unit. Also the big blank wall at the end of the bed is crying out for a TV!"

"This is a very clean and cozy place to stay. The beds were nice and the bathroom had lots of hot water and a great shower head. Basic breakfast items were provided which was a nice touch. Very quiet as well."

"Our accommodations (small downstairs ensuite with kitchenette) were basic but clean and adequate. It was good to have the use of the kitchenette. The host was attentive and responsive, though her living quarters were right next to our room and her access was through the kitchenette, so there is no complete privacy. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and conveniently located."
