"This hotel is located at the town center and is very convenient for everything. The staffs are very friendly. I appreciate the receptionist introducing me the idea of biking in the Wachau valley. I rented a bike from the hotel for 20e/day and had a good time riding to Splitz and return (for about 5 hours). The hotel also provided me a helmet for free. I want to thank the hotel and to recommend visitors to consider this activity. "

"Charming and unique stay. We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed it. There’s not much happening in the town and the day we arrived the restaurant was closed. "Great location in the heart of the Wachau. Accessible by public transport (715 bus from Krems or Melk and the Wachaubahn). Lots of great walks start from near the hotel, including the UNESCO walking trail throughout the Wachau. Great restaurant - and the wine is great. I can recommend the flammkuchen with their Pinot noir! "

"If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me."

"Lovely location and view from hotel but Definetely not business friendly. No on site restaurant and the one in the golf course was closing at 8pm. Very hot room in July with no air conditioning, no table to work. Breakfast frugal. Coffee machine not working, had to ask staff 3 times to empty it add water etc.. Mattress very soft and very heavy duvet not suitable for this high temperature. "

"We stayed here for a few nights recently and whilst the cottage itself was nice, the furnishings were below par and, the kitchen did not have many things we have experienced in cottages across Austria. It was also a place in need of some care. The house was quite dusty, the only outdoor furniture (picnic table) was slanted the moment you sat and, made for an uncomfortable outdoor experience.
