"The front desk personnel was slow to address a problem with the AC and dismissive of problems with the wifi, which basically did not work. He also insisted that he had upgraded our room "two or three levels" and that we were in "one of the best" rooms which was clearly not the case when a repairman finally showed up to fix the AC which was caused by an excessive amount of dirt on the filter. "

"How Expedia rated this hotel in the "luxury" category is beyond me. This is at best a 2-star hotel, as it was missing some very basic amenities, such as a coffee make and there was NO air conditioning service (not turned on until summer, I was told). All this besides the fact the hotel is very near a bad area (Termini terminal) and I was told by the staff to not go there when night falls. Expedia needs to do better."

"We are a family of five from the U.S. We stayed in the family room which is really two adjoined rooms. It was perfect for us. One room has a queen bed and a twin bed, the other room has a king bed and a twin bed. Our two older children slept in one room while me, my wife, and our youngest slept in the other. The lights were a little confusing but we got it down after one night. We stayed two days and would 100% recommend this to anyone traveling from the U.S. with a similar family size as ours."

"Wonderful buffet breakfast, a really unbelievable variety of food. There are staff members around in case of problems. The front desk staff are excellent. Always nice. We had a complicated lastminute change in plans that they handled as though it were nothing. And really, who doesn’t want to stay in a palace? "

"Staff helpful , we had a suite in the side building which had a fair few stairs to climb then a lift up to 2nd floor, the room was a good size , modern and clean, comfortable bed, air conditioning kept it cool, excellent bathroom and shower highly rated, fridge and safe in room , no coffee machine though, great location for central train station literally 1 min walk to tube and then 2 min ride to train station , 10 mins walk from colosseum , Rome is quite wide spread so ideal being near tube, highly recommend "
