"Arrived to having to put bed linen on. Kitchen area dirty as appears not cleaned by host. Floor area not clean. Positives are location for St Martin and shower good. Main bed very poor and needed new mattress. Overall disappointing"

"Logement parfait à notre sens.Calme,super aménagé il ne manque rien.A un km du centre de saint Martin où on peut aller à pied en un 1/4 d’heure maxi.Logement idéalement situé pour rayonner en vélo sur toute l’île de ré.Tous les commerces à proximité dans un rayon de 500 mètres maxi(Leclerc,Lidl,boulangerie etc)Pas de pbs de stationnement gratuit ce qui est un plus comme la possibilité de déposer nos vélos en sécurité dans un garage.Nous recommandons ce logement où nous reviendrons"

"Excellent location and spotlessly clean. Well equipped and great for a couple. Comfy bed with clean, crisp linen and mattress pad. Safe and secure top floor apartment in a quiet block (stayed early October). Bike storage in underground area or in the racks of gated courtyard (but this was sometimes left unlocked by other residents in block). Right by the sea wall on west side of harbour. Windows and balcony give great views over Saint Martin. Great communication by host at all times. Couple of ‘cautions’ about apartment - the mezzanine floor is very restricted and you would really struggle if you are tall. Stairs leading to floor have restricted headroom as you reach bedroom. Shower has mediocre water pressure, but always plenty of hot water. No oven, just hob and combi microwave. Rest of kitchen well equipped for crockery, glasses, pans & utensils. Ideal for a short stay and despite the headroom issue would probably stay again if the price stayed the same. "

"Me and my husband only staying one night but check in isn’t until 5 and you have to park in a car park a walk away from the hotel. It would have been nice to have checked in at 2 like most hotels and have the whole of the afternoon to explore instead of having to go back to the car for the bags at 5pm! The hotel is beautifully furnished and spotless. The rooms are spacious and have lovely views outs looked out over the harbour which is beautiful. The biggest thing for me was no tea making facilities in the room as I love my morning cuppa!"
