Villa by the sea.

"We had a lovely holiday in this property. The pool and garden were really quite idyllic and we enjoyed swimming and relaxing by the pool. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious and had just about everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped and the fridge and freezer were a good size. The location was very convenient, being a short walk or even shorter cycle from the pretty village of La Flotte.Not a major issue, but there was only space to hang clothes in the master bedroom, as the hanging space in the wardrobes in the other two bedrooms was taken up by the owner's belongings. It would be helpful to let people know in the guest information folder that you need to use a gas lighter to light some of the rings on the stove, and where to find this. We have a similar oven at home but don't need to use a lighter with it. The gas had also run out on the first day so the owner had to come and change the bottle. It would be good for this to be checked between guests.Clearer arrival arrangements would help, at least for guests from outside France. (In the UK you can normally just turn up and walk in, or there may be a keysafe). We had advised the host that we expected to arrive at around 4pm, and sent a message through Vrbo about an hour before arrival. We had been told we could get in touch with Fanny, but no contact details for her were provided. We had to wait a while to be let into the property by Fanny's colleague."

"Logement très agréable, au calme, avec le centre animé de La Flotte facilement accessible à pied ou à vélo. Accueil très sympathique et agréable. Bémol: vite chaud dans la mezzanine, heureusement possibilité de faire du courant avec le velux. Et manque de pression d'eau pour la douche."

"Fantastisch eingerichtetes Haus in sehr guter Lage- leider wurde auf der deutschen Website, im Gegensatz wohl zur französischen Seite, nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass man Bettwäsche selbst mitbringen muss. Bei dem hohen Mietpreis hätte ich erwartet, dass dieses inklusive ist."

"La maison etait tres bien, conforme a la description. Elle est au fond d’une impasse pres d’un bois au calme. Les proprietaires sont tres reactifs et agreables. La petite ville de la Flotte est assez animee. Nous avons passe 2 belles semaines de vacances"

"A beautiful and well situated property in La Flotte. The check in process was challenging because the road leading to the property was closed for construction so it wasn’t possible to drop our luggage off. The manager was very helpful and explained the parking situation and even offered to send a friend to help us with our luggage as the reception was closed until the morning. The parking for this property is listed as on site but it is a short walk from the hotel, normally not a problem but dragging luggage through a gravel parking lot after a long journey was not ideal. Nonetheless we really enjoyed our time in La Flotte and once we figured out the parking situation it was smooth sailing!"

"Maison très sympa et cosy. L’emplacement est idéal et correspond tout à fait à l’annonce. Deux bémols toutefois : pas de parking (vous aurez de la chance si vous trouvez un coin de la rue où garer votre voiture ce qui n’a pas été notre cas) et le prix exagéré des prestations annexes dont le linge (même si il nous a été proposé une négociation sur ce point)"
