"Location is great, close to all shops, restaurants and attractions. Friendly, excellent staff and lots of options for breakfast of hot or cold food and drinks."
"Newly furbished hotel in the heart of Canterbury. Good was clean and comfortable and location was walking distance to the attractions. Overall Good value for money."
"The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. It seems that Expedia did not ensure proper quality assessment with the owner. When I book through...

"We got to the hotel early so that we could look around Canterbury. Parking at the hotel is via an App,(it was not like that last time we stayed), being Old it took us over half an hour to pay for the parking, bare that in mind if you are old and not OK with modern Apps and you don't have a smart phone the telephone numbers on the "Ringo notice board do not help with paying for parking", basically a nightmare. Hotel was fantastic, clean, bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing in the morning was great, continental or full English. At the end of the Car Park is a "Wetherspoons" so the evening meal was excellent:- 2 Fish, Chips and Peas, a Pint of Cider and a Brandy and coke £23.50 all in. All in all we had a lovely time at the Falstaff, Canterbury."
"Five star service! A quirky 15th century timber framed building a stone’s throw from the Cathedral. Very welcoming and helpful staff, generous (complimentary bottled water and toiletries), tasty breakfast. Parking was easy with their anpr voucher system. Great value for money in the heart of Canterbury. Would happily stay her again."
"The staff were great and friendly. They were helpful with recommendations and the location was amazing. We found free parking a 15 minute walk away and left the car there for 3 days while we explored the town "
"Firstly, we must say what a fabulous host Lisa was. Nothing was to much for her. Very pleasant lady. Our room was No7, which had a 4 poster bed, and was very comfortable. Massive TV.( if you wanted to use it!) Loverly, comfortable furniture. The bathroom was excellent. Breakfast, set us up for the day. Full English, a must."
"The location within the cathedral grounds is a special feature. Lovely to wander around in the evening and easy for the restaurants.
Breakfast was fabulous with a choice of cooked or a large continental menu. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a smallish double and the shower was adequate but not a huge space. Overall a delightful experience.
