The staff at this hotel were very lovely and helpful. It is also very beautiful as you walk in as it is all open, and almost has a miniature forest you walk through to get to your rooms and the pool/beach. We went down to the beach a few times as it was so close to the hotel. The beach is truly beautiful, white sandy beach with clear blue water. It was not very busy when we visited, but this may be due to low season. The pool was also very well kept and clean, The location of the hotel was truly great and we walked down the road most nights to find a restaurant for dinner. It was also not too far from the docks for boat trips. The breakfast in the morning was great and had loads of options, and many vegetarian choices. The only negative we had was the room service. We ordered 2 pizzas, which were made using ready made bases and very honestly not very nice. They were also quite expensive for Thailand at almost £9 each. I could probably buy something better from the supermarket for a lot less. The rooms also do not get completely dark, and you can see shadows of people walking past you. Apart from this we enjoyed our stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent, on a lovely stretch of Lamai beach. There are plenty of sun loungers both around the picturesque pool and on the sand as well as beach towels in your room for you to use. The staff are all delightful - super friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast is served in the restaurant which is open to the outside with pool and beach views - very pleasant. Eggs in a variety of forms were freshly made for you by cheerful staff members Bedrooms are very spacious. Good amenities in the room such as a fridge, umbrellas for showers and daily bottled water. There is a massage centre attached to the hotel for open air treatments at a reasonable price. On Thursdays, there is a barbeque on the beach and a brilliant fire show. However, the hotel overall could do with some maintenance, for example rusting railings that need painting and some of the wooden bedroom and balcony furniture was scratched and chipped. Breakfast was pleasant enough for a couple of days but then became rather monotonous as it was l much exactly the same every day. In addition, breakfast staff were great at clearing plates away, but not so good at topping up the breakfast dishes so there was always something that had run out or had gone cold. There is a fitness room but the multi gym was broken, the a/c did not work well and there were no free weights so it wasn't really functional. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but with a few tweaks this hotel could be even better.ll

Booked two rooms with a jacuzzi. We were unable to use the jacuzzi because it was so bad. The plug hole was rusty . One of the jets was broken and the head rest was dirty. The sunloungers around the pool were stained. The railings around the property all needs replacing. The staff were absolutly amazing and our room was clean. We were booked in for 6 days buy left on our 3rd day.

One of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had in Thailand. The hotel itself is nothing special. The rooms are small and cramped, the bathrooms feel old and outdated, and even the toiletries are extremely cheap. Everything gives the impression that the hotel is constantly trying to save money at the guests’ expense. We booked two rooms, and the second room was for our minor children. Having an additional key so we could enter their room when needed was obviously very important to us. Still, the hotel insisted that only one key card could be issued per room, and that same card also controls the electricity. Apparently, their system does not even allow them to issue a second guest card. Only after we complained repeatedly, involved Expedia and asked to leave the hotel early did they finally give us an additional card — a staff card — because there was no other way for them to provide one. Getting extra towels also felt like a negotiation. One day my daughter really wanted a clementine. We had seen beautiful plates of them around the hotel, so we politely asked housekeeping and the dining room for just one clementine and even offered to pay for it. They refused. It sounds like a small thing, but it perfectly represents the level of hospitality here. The woman at reception was especially unpleasant, dismissive and completely lacking in empathy.
