Eine traumhafte Bungalowanlage, quasi mitten im Dschungel und direkt am Strand. Ein extrem netter Inhaber, Der uns aus eigener Kulanz aufgrund der Coronakrise und einer verfrühten Abreise eine Rückerstattung ausgezahlt hat, obwohl er es nicht hätte machen müssen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Zweckmäßig eingerichtete Bungalows im schönsten Garten am Platz!! Moskitonetz über dem Bett, kaltes Wasser aus der Dusche keine!!! Klimaanlage (Stromfresser) leckerstes Müsli mit Früchten und Joghurt zum Frühstück. War hier vier Wochen, beim nächsten Mal sicher länger. TOP!!!

Erster Blick: Hui. Zweiter Blick: Pfui

Der erste Eindruck war super! Eine wunderschöne Anlage, fast wie ein kleiner, tropischer Wald direkt am Strand, in dem vereinzelte Bungalows stehen. Der sehr schöne Strand ist direkt zugänglich und das Wasser glasklar. Auch die Bungalows auf den ersten blick wirklich schön, mit Hängematte und gemütlichen, überdachten, Sitzgelegenheiten vor jeder Hütte. Dem Preis entsprechend darf man natürlich nicht wirklich eine Luxus-Unterkunft erwarten. Es war eben ein kleiner Raum mit Bett, Bad und Deckenventilator. Achja, eine Klimaanlage gibt es auch, aber die wird nur „freigeschaltet“ wenn man zusätzlich knapp 18 Euro am Tag zahlt, was genauso viel gewesen wäre, wie wir zu zweit für die ganze Übernachtung gezahlt haben - also sehr teuer (Und glaubt mir, in Thailand wollt ihr eine Klimaanlage zum schlafen haben, vorallem in den nicht gedämmten Holzbungalows.) Bad war dafür soweit in Ordnung, aber einen wirklichen Room-Services gab es nicht. Der Mülleimer quoll irgendwann über und neues Klopapier mussten wir uns dann selbst an der Reception holen. Zu Guter Letzt das Bett: Erwartet haben wir ja nicht viel, aber das ein Bett so hart sein kann hat uns dann doch überrascht, ebenso die Kissen. Außerdem waren die Laken seeehr schmutzig (alte Flecken, einige sahen auch nach Blut aus.) und das Moskitonetz hatte doch einige Löcher. Unser Fazit: für Rucksack-Touris, die nur ein bis zwei Tage bleiben, passt die Unterkunft schon. Längere Aufenthalte würde ich aber vermeiden.

Relaxing stay

Dolphin Bungalows exceeded my expectations. Looks way better than the photos!! We travelled to Koh Phangan for an event that was cancelled after arrival, so we spent 3 days here. The bungalows are lovely and the beach is beautiful. The food is pricey at the Bungalows and along the beach but there is a small stretch of market stalls selling delicious Thai food for 50-100baht on the Main Street. There is also not a lot to do on this quieter side of the island and like most islands prepare to pay a ridiculously inflated price for taxis (like 600baht for 15 minutes). If you are planning on doing more than relaxing on the beach I highly recommend hiring a car or motorbike, will work out much cheaper. Overall, we loved our stay and Dolphin Bunglows was great. Expect higher prices in Koh Phangan and make sure you check out the map and plan what you want to do ahead.

Tolle Lage direkt am Strand in einem wunderschönen Garten. Herrlich ruhig mit einem sehr schönen Restaurant, sehr gutem Essen und netter Bedienung. Die "Jungs" sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Herrlicher Aufenthalt!

Un beau séjour, une plage magnifique

Points +: la plage magnifique à côté des bungalows, super sable et eau cristalline! La propreté des bungalow, le petit hamac sur la terrasse. Le calme! Excellent rapport qualité prix. A améliorer: le personnel pourrait être plus accueillant Points négatifs: l'hôtel se situe loin du centre (côté Thong Sala) et donc de la plupart des restaurants. Nous avions loué un scooter pour palier à ce problème. Les routes sont très larges et bien goudronnée (parfois même éclairées). Cela nous a permis de visiter les alentours également!

Avslappnat trevligt ställe.

Mysigt ställe med ett bra läge på stranden. Om man tar sig upp till byn så finns där en liten foudcourt. Bästa maten på platsen.

Als Backpacker hat man es hier gut.Es ist sehr ruhig - ein wunderschöner Garten der sich durch die Anlage zieht.Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.derManager ist absolut interessiert an den Wünschen und Belangen der Gäste.Leider ist im Restaurant wenig los - was dann nicht einlädtt dort zu bleiben um zu essen.Grund unbekannt - Essen ist lecker...

Personal nicht sehr aufmerksam, lieber Freizeitaktivitäten genutzt z.B. Fußball gespielt und Handy öffentlich vor den Gästen benutzt.man musste seine bestellung selber ordern in dem man hingegangen ist und die servicekräfte selber angesprochen hat.In dem Restaurant in der nähe wurden wir gefragt was wir gerne möchten. Idyllic

It all depends on what you want and need. For me, it’s simplicity and cleanliness so these bamboo bungalows are perfect, sitting in a little piece of quiet paradise set in exquisite well kempt gardens which attracts stunning wildlife. I love the friendly very happy pack of dogs and the staff make me feel at home and very welcome.

Sehr saubere aablage mit freundlichem Personal, zu unserer Reisezeit allerdings viele Familien mit Kleinkindern, für die der flach abfallende Strand perfekt ist. Wir empfehlen unbedingt einen Besuch des Streetfoodmarkets! Sehr gutes und günstiges Essen!

Modrige Bungalows mitten im Dschungel am Strand.

Dolphin Bungalows sind in einen kleinen Dschungel eingebettet, was ich persönlich sehr schön fand - Vögelgezwitscher die ganze Zeit, sehr schön grün und die Anlage auch relativ gepflegt! Was nicht so schön ist(für mich persönlich) im Dschungel - die verschiedensten Insekten, die sich natürlich auch in den Bungalows aufhalten. Bei unserer Ankunft hat uns direkt eine riesige Kakerlake an der Wand begrüsst. Was ich persönlich aber noch viel schlimmer empfand, waren die modrigen Bungalows, die einfach krass nach Schimmel gerochen haben - was aber normal sei in dieser Gegend. Wir haben nach 3 Tagen das Bungalow gewechselt und da ging es vom Geruch her. Die Moskitonetze sind leider nicht mehr die neuesten - viele grosse Risse, die natürlich ungebetene Gäste reinlassen, wie Ameisen und Mücken. Bevor man ins Bett steigt, sollte man evtl das Bett inspizieren! Unsere Bungalows hatten weder Schränke noch Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeiten im Bad. Wenn man aber darüber hinweg sehen kann, ist die Lage einfach fantastisch!!!! Nicht mal in 1 min ist man am Strand und geniesst eine tolle Aussicht!!!! Falls ihr günstiger frühstücken wollt, dann einfach nebenan ins Longtail Beach Resort.

For the price excellent

Enjoyed our five nights here, price for quality was about right, we stayed in a standard bungalow. There are fairly basic and exactly what we expected. Nice balcony with hammock and seats, it had a large bed, and decent bathroom. The resort has a lovely lay out with bungalows in vegetation as you make your way to the lovely beach. The room was cleaned every couple of days. I get the feeling the present owners are quite new, the staff were friendly and attentive, but did seem a bit lacking in both experience and knowledge. However this had no impact on our stay. I would say if you want a chilled out old style bungalow on the beach this is perfect. Their food was a little pricey but there are plenty of places close by, but a large Chang is only 80 baht!

Very secluded

The hotel staff were friendly & helpful, but they were unavailable from 3-6 each day, which could cause issues. The bungalows themselves were very nice, and the balcony is ideal for reading & relaxing. The beach is beautiful, very peaceful with clear sea. Unfortunately the resort is very isolated, 10 minutes walk from the nearest town, and a long (and expensive) taxi ride to the pier/half moon party/main part of the island. If planning to rent a car or bike this resort is ideal, if not the taxi fares quickly add up!

Relaxing bungalow on the beach

Amazing food, great location on the beach. The staff were nice. It would be nice to have wifi in the room and if the toliet was a bit cleaner. But it was super affordable!

On the beach with a great vibe

Considering it poured with rain the first few days, we still had a great time relaxing in the bar/restaurant area looking straight onto the beach. The food is really good and there is a great vibe. When the weather improved the beach was beautiful and they set out plenty of tables on the beach.

Nice and very relaxing place

The resort is very clean and has a nice jungle athmosphere around the bungalows and a phantastic (Dou is probably the best chef at least on this island) restaurant at the beach. Absolutely recommendable for a nice leisure time.
