"Property is a good mid-way to Mammoth lake from the Bay area. The property is located right off highway 108 in town with gas stations and dinner. We have a short but pleasant stay. The check in staff on 5/24 11pm is very friendly and give many advise for parking the car cause the parking lot is beyond full. Maybe they should issue car parking permit limited one car per unite? "It is located in a slightly hilly wooded area. There is a gas station "C" store that offers food and beer. An Rv park is on this loaction and is very nice.. The Casino is modern and well appointed. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are clean. A new waterpark was being constructed during our visit.Sonora is close for shopping.Yosemite is a close scenic drive.A bowling alley and Dining at two locations are your options.This was our second time at Black Oak in six months."

"The only way the host would respond is when I contacted VRBO. The property was so filthy I wouldn't even bring my luggage into it. VRBO did NOTHING for me. I had to reverse the charges with my credit card, which they did after I showed them the awful pictures of the place. I will not consider VRBO again."

"This was a last minute trip on our way to spend Thanksgiving with family. The property is a cozy older home, but clean with comfy beds, and perfect spot near Yosemite. It’s about 30 minutes to the gate and 1 hour from the Valley, but ann easy drive. Our family of 4, including 2 teenagers, loved our stay. We had plenty of room with 2 bedrooms downstairs, a huge loft space, and 2 bathrooms. Groveland is a cute town. Mar Vals was a great grocery store where we were to get everything we needed....

"This place was absolutley immaculate! Bedding was so very comfortable. Nice touches like fresh banannas, orange juice, oat milk, granola, ice cream bars, pop corn, ect....we stayed in Hikers Cabin 1900 ponerosa lane. Beautiful patio, balcony, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom. The cabin was sparkling clean and so comfortable! My husband and i were so very pleased! "
