"The property is really beautiful and well designed. We signed up for their tasting menu on two occasions and were a little disappointed in the food. The dinning area is stunning but you can’t choose what you want to eat so unfortunately we didn’t really love what was offered. Knowing the menu ahead of time or the ability to choose from a few options would have been much appreciated. "Loads of (old) caravans for hire. Our bungalow was probably still occupied by people that where cleaning up the site to seasons start. Upgraded to (nice modern) mobile home, but charged 10 Euro for bedlinnen and they wanted 10 euro per towel also. We refused that. Wifi looked OK at the site but only worked at the reception for 5 euro a day.."

"My husband and I loved our stay at Uddastri Retreat. We were greeted by the hosts on arrival and given a tour of the place. Our room was stunning with incredible detail on the decor. The breakfast was great and the pool area was amazing! Overall I do not have a bad thing to say about this place. Location is easy enough to get to and you can be in Oblia within 20 mins! Would definately recommend this place! "

"Cavallo is an idyllic and beautiful island. Unfortunately the hotel is no longer run in a first class way and I could not in good conscience recommend staying here (especially at these prices). For example, there is a ferry that takes you to the island. We called the hotel bc we were 3 mins late (after a 17 hour flight from California that wasn't so bad). The hotel assured us they would contact the ferry and make sure they would wait those three minutes. The ferry said no one ever contacted...

Nice stay
"Nice hotel with lovely pool area and views over the harbour. The walk in to town is not very pleasant and so you need a car to access town and surrounding areas so consider this in your planning. We only had the breakfast in the hotel which was excellent. We also did the hotel organised boat trip on Dolce Vita which was outstanding and I highly recommend. Overall the hotel is a bit run down in the common areas etc but the pool area is lovely. "
