This hotel has fantastic views in multiple directions, and many of the rooms have private terraces. The private beach with bar and beds amongst the rocks was an unexpected amenity that we loved. The pool is small but is nestled between small cliffs...truly unique. The location was quiet and only a few minutes from the center of La Maddalena, but don't expect to easily walk into town...it was about 1.5 miles, which is steeply uphill on the return. We recommend this location if you have a car.

Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel outside the town. Relaxing pool area in a nicely made garden. Perfect location both for the beautiful town and the stunning beaches. Towels for the beach and pool, were changed every day. Service was high class. Spa was excellent. Breakfast was super good. Very nice hotel and resort.

Very nice hotel and modern. Breakfast spread was great. Pool was nice but not many seats to lounge around and not really around the pool either (chairs are set back away from pool in grassy area). The new beach club is very expensive and an additional cost. However the hotel is a good comfortable stay and base if you plan to do a boat tour and travel around the island on your own. Beach towel was so fluffy but they only allow one new towel a day so just fyi. However overall I’d recommend it and it’s an easy drive into town for dinners.

Great stay at Ma&Ma

Very good hotel, really enjoyed our stay here. Booking in was professional and efficient. Pool area and gardens were lovely to sit out in. Room was high standard, we had a small issue with the electricity going off, but the staff sorted this. My only gripe is that although I appreciate two free bottles of water a day, for a hotel doing that to every room is so much wastage. Install a filtered water machine in the corridor, everyone has a bottle these days. So much wastage and would make the hotel more eco friendly.

The rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. The food variety of the included breakfast every morning was impressive and a great way to start the day. Also the location of the resort was perfect for reaching the town and ferry easily, but far enough away to be quiet and secluded.

"Family suite" for 3 people max

The island (La Maddalena) is amazing. So much fun to take the ferry over and experience Sardegna's beautiful hiking, food and beaches. Pros: beautiful location, fantastic breakfast. Cons: We booked a "family suite" with a king bed and two single beds. When we arrived in the room, there was a king bed and small sofa bed, which was not going to fit our two adult children. We informed the management and they said that the listing was an error, and that they don't have any rooms that met that description. Fortunately and correctly, they made it right and put our sons in another room. But we did specifically book that hotel because of the number of beds - be aware if you are in the same situation. The second con is that the room reeked of cigarette smoke, but I suppose that's part of the experience in Italy.

Nice stay

Nice hotel with lovely pool area and views over the harbour. The walk in to town is not very pleasant and so you need a car to access town and surrounding areas so consider this in your planning. We only had the breakfast in the hotel which was excellent. We also did the hotel organised boat trip on Dolce Vita which was outstanding and I highly recommend. Overall the hotel is a bit run down in the common areas etc but the pool area is lovely.

Very nice Hotel which is clean, has very Friendly and helpful Personal and also the Restaurants are really good. The internal Restaurant is way too expensive compared to every other Restaurant you will find on the whole island! Thats why we recommend the Pizza Restaurant which is also more authentic. One thing in the Hotel is a Bit Strange. All simple Jobs are done by black people. On the one Hand it’s good that they get employed there. On the other hand it feels a bit wrong.
