"The beds were very comfortable and although the building is old it was very clean. Hats off to the cleaning staff. However; the shower tub had no rubber or silicone mats or adhesives. I slipped and almost fell several times. Very unsafe! We checked out at 6:30 am and returned the luggage cart. The on duty clerk took our key cards and the cart. My husband got a cup of coffee and we went to our vehicle. My husband went back in and asked if he could use the lobby restroom and he was told no. The male clerk claimed he didn’t have a key to open the bathroom door. So I guess since we were no longer guests it was off limits or he really didn’t have a key. There is no place to sit down and eat breakfast, it is only a grab and go area with prepackaged pastries, fruit and some juices and coffee. This particular hotel is in an area where we observed many street people. I assume they were homeless. We did worry about our vehicle, nothing happened and the hotel parking is well lit. There is a restaurant located right next door. You can walk there and it seems to be on the same property. Terrible service. One waitress. They were not busy. The food was not that good and it was pricey. "

"The people were very friendly but the place smelled like sewage in the downstairs and body odor in the elevators. Very gross for the most expensive hotel around. "

"Staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked. I really appreciated the 24 hr coffee machine. Would stay here again."

"First time at a La Quinta, likely the last. First room no hot water, second room, hot (in March) ac not working properly, 2 tbs in a suite that did not work. Front desk said issues with cable, was not fixed. The kicker for me was the disgusting amount of toenail clippings all over the carpet that were not mine. "

"EXCEPTIONAL! Do it! Before I became in need of accessibility due to my broken leg, I stayed at 200+ hotels in my lifetime. My standards which are quite high remain the same, but my needs add to that. Southpark staff could not have been more welcoming, thorough, professional, and kind, from the moment I was wheeled into the surprisingly beautiful lobby! Heath, the cool circular lobby bar bartender, was exceptional too! The front desk staff, especially Charles, made us truly feel like hotel "GUESTS" vs "customers", that many other hotels' front desk staff, even at 5 Star hotels, make you feel like. CLEAN! My usual high hotel standards for cleanliness and comfort, which I have had to lessen for other hotels' accessible rooms, were more than met! An absolutely amazing woman Ana, escorted us to view the rooms best-suited for me with my limited mobility which was a priority. Ana's treatment, assistance and dedication were profound. All rooms were laid out beautifully, immaculate, so pleasant, and the best drapes for sleep! Comfortable bed and pillows. Fluffy towels! FABULOUS POOL and lovely lounge areas! BEST of all: It was immaculate! Cleanest of any hotel pool anywhere! Also, relaxing, plus long OPEN hours. A pool has always been a life-long requirement when staying at hotels. The indoor/outdoor pool was uniquely designed, beautiful, comfortable and CLEAN. ALL staff were helpful, warm, and so kind, from every department, every minute of my stay. I can't wait to return!"
