"Cabin was clean and had many supplies. Be aware that the bathroom is not in the cabin but just a few steps away and is a private bath, did not impact our stay. Seems like it would be a good place to stay in warmer months when you could use the lake amenities. We chose the property because of its proximity to Stone House Vineyard, we were attending an event there and wanted to stay close by."

"The cabin is just the right size for a couple. The high ceilings make the cabin feel roomy. The bed was comfortable and Kathy took care of anything we needed. We had access to the whole ranch and enjoyed seeing the wildlife each day, especially the longhorn calves. We cooked our meals there and had all we need. If you want to grill you’ll need to provide your own charcoal. The cabin is quiet and cozy deep in the heart of the Hill Country."

"Really enjoyed our stay and loved the hot tub. It took a total of 3.5 hours to fill with water and get to 98 degrees with three logs burning at a time, so plan ahead. The setup with four units next to a central eating and socializing area would make for a great outing with friends or family. The Mesquite is a little close to another unit where you hear and see your neighbors, so we will book a different unit next time."
