"Positives: The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding and towels were immaculate. The shower was a great temperature, albeit on the small size. The view of the bay from my balcony was unbelievably beautiful. I’ve never woken to a better view. The staff were friendly and my luggage was carried to my room. The check in and check out was fuss-free. I believe there is parking available, though I used the long-stay carpark, just opposite. Negatives: the rooms are VERY dated and in need of a LOT of TLC. If you can look beyond this, the hotel is a fantastic place to stay for a reasonable rate. Especially for St Ives. It would be good to see the place brought back to life with a lick of paint."

"The travelling was explained, but as being in our 80s when we got to the property we misled the reading about the entrance at the back and got very confused but one telephone call and it was put right got all the help we needed it was well situated very close to most things. I’m an excellent taxi service to get back up to the Terrace on the Ho. It was very good holiday enjoyed every moment of it."
