Probably because I wasn’t the same color as everyone walking in. And it says on the map that there is Starbucks coffee but there isn’t . "We really enjoyed our stay in Ocean Beach! We especially appreciated finding a pet-friendly home, as our main purpose for the trip was to take our 8-year-old Lab to the beach. Living in Las Vegas, we wanted to give her a chance to enjoy the ocean, and she had a fabulous time.The accommodations were outstanding, and the property description and photos were very accurate. We drove our Tahoe, which unfortunately did not fit in the carport, but there was plenty of street parking available.The host also informed us that the streets are swept on certain days and that vehicles need to be moved early in the morning, which was helpful information to have in advance.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and a fabulous time in Ocean Beach. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Awesome elevated view of the beach and ocean. Living space and rooms very comfortable. Parking in carport for two vehicles.I wasn't aware that the entire unit was a second floor unit. It was difficult for her disability. I wasn't aware that there was an occupied unit below, but it didn't present an issue.There were multiple screens missing from various windows. One large sliding screen missing from living room door onto patio.The dining table was gross. There was a build-up of sticky grime along the edges that showed evidence of lack of cleaning. A number of stains were visible on the couch. The living room drapes could use a cleaning. A light blue blanket on the couch had a dirty black mark when the blanket was unfolded.The front windows facing the view of the beach and ocean were very dirty. I understand that the atmosphere at the ocean makes it difficult to maintain the clarity, but these windows hadn't been cleaned in a while. I live along the ocean.To sum up, the cleaning process of the unit needs to be addressed. As to the screens, definitely a new sliding screen in the living room."

"I really wanted to love this unit because the location is AMAZING. It is steps from the beach but not on the boardwalk so it is very quiet, close to great little walk-up food and drink and very short walk to the family friendly Belmont. It was also incredibly clean, without even the usual beach-rental sand!Some of the concerns are that unit was very stuffy/hot with no AC, even during mild weather. Several windows either don’t open, have no screens, or fall out, so we had to leave the doors open much of the time, which meant very little privacy. The master bed was uncomfortable. We could feel the springs and there was a noticeable dip. I realize this is a lower priced rental than I usually book, so expecting perfection would be unfair. The location and cleanliness are fantastic, but the unit could use a little some TLC to make it a more comfortable stay."
