"Just spectacular!"

"The staff was AMAZING. There was a man at breakfast who was helpful, kind, and talkative each day. Breakfast was always the same though. I do wish there had been a bit of variety. 6 days eating the same things got old. The bar and rooftop pool is awesome. The hours are a bit short as you can only get food until 3:30 and only swim until 6pm. We got back from excursions around 5 each day and were disappointed that the pool was closing so soon. The bartenders are AMAZING. Bruno, Brian, and Nicholas were so much fun. They had us laughing and we felt like locals when talking and hanging out with them. They made great drinks, played fun music, and made is feel so welcome. The one incident we had at the hotel was when the owner yelled at us. We had a third floor room that had an exit leading from the side of the building directly to the stairs to town. We took this exit each day thinking it was an acceptable exit. Well, the green button on the door that usually means "go" in America really means emergency exit. Our bad. Truly a mistake. But the owner yelled at us, called us "not nice people", and not only did not accept the apology but ignored us every time he saw us after that (in the beginning he was very talkative and welcoming). Our fault... we should have known better I guess, but he was awful. Our room was spacious and cleaned each day. The staff is great and the location by the port is ideal."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location couldn't have been better—it was the perfect home base for exploring the area, with everything we wanted to see and do just a short walk away. We took day trips to Capri and Ischia with an easy walk to the ferry! The hotel was spotless, and you could tell the staff took great pride in keeping everything clean and well maintained. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, always happy to answer questions and offer recommendations. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and relaxing place to stay. We would happily stay here again."

"Hotel Del Mare was a quaint hotel out of the way of the louder areas of Sorrento. Not overly fancy but we weren’t looking for that! I asked staff for help constantly with directions. Yes, it was a hike going up the stairs into the main part of town, but after a day we got used to an and climbed the stairs several times during the day. We got our steps in and lots of exercise!! The restaurants near the hotels were excellent!! If we come back to Sorrento, we’ll definitely book there!!!"
