Situated in the heart of Sorrento on a side street, this was a nice clean place to stay. Sometimes difficult to locate, is on a narrow side street. Breakfast was efficient and staff were very good

We spent three nights at Hotel Astoria during our stay in Sorrento and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is centrally located, just a short walk from Piazza Tasso, the main square, as well as the harbour for easy access to the ferries. The service was exceptional from start to finish, beginning with our pickup from the Sorrento Port and continuing through checkout. Breakfast offered a great variety, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture from the front desk, who offered to pack breakfast for us since we had an early departure. We highly recommend Hotel Astoria for anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable stay in Sorrento with truly exceptional service.

The shower is always clogged while taking a shower. The front staff is very friendly and accommodating. His name is Paulo. Very good and helpful.

Fabulous location, food and beverages, morning breakfasts, and friendly, most helful staff. The location is amazing- right in the heart of things! (Taxis and such cannot travel the lasst block into only pedestrian streets of old town. And they can't wait for very long or park at the closest square. So be prepared to walk you bags in or perhaps you might call the hotel staff to see if they can assist.) The little hotel is charming and has a small bar and garden area restaurant serving lunch and dinner.) I would book this place if returning to stay in Sorrento, which I would love to do!

The staff were incredibly helpful at arranging services when our flight home was canceled. They were able to accommodate us for an extra day and arrange transportation to Naples. The facility was very clean and well located. On arrival, staff met us on the square to help transport luggage over cobblestone walkway, too narrow for a car. The breakfasts were okay, adequate but not really very satisfying. Some pastries and fruit seemed past their prime.

Location is perfect. Close to everything. Very helpful and attentive front desk staff. Great breakfast and good rooms. Pool on site is small but does the job well when you don’t want to go down to the beach clubs. Would definitely come back.

Very clean; staff made every effort to meet our needs. Great location. Small pool but still a very nice option to have on hot days. The only thing that is suboptimal is the AC. It shuts down automatically as soon as we leave the room so we always came back to a hot room. We never managed to bring the temperature below 27, so not great to sleep.

This hotel is a hidden gem. It is in the heart of Sorrento but the street is very quiet, just light foot traffic. It is very well maintained and clean. Everybody that works at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The beautiful lemon garden terrace in the background is beautifully planted and you can eat dinner out there in the evenings. The food is fabulous. We had some of our best meals in Sorrento here at the hotel. The breakfast buffet in Is a great way to start the day and they have fabulous drinks in the late afternoon and evening. The pool is nice to cool off in and they have plenty of lounge chairs to lay out. We extended our trip another 5 days. We hope to come back again in the future

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Astoria. The rooms are small but clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the garden courtyard and bar, the small pool and deck, the morning breakfast. The staff was the best all around — everyone was so nice and very friendly. We walked everywhere. Leaving the hotel, we could walk in any direction and find food, shopping, adventure! As we were checking out, we heard another guest who was a repeat patron. The staff recognized her and welcomed her with enthusiasm. We would definitely stay here again.
