"This was Actually an excellent place to stay for a small town where I grew up as a child. I definitely recommend it to anyone who thinks like i did before staying here. Its close to alot of restaurants, pharmacies, grocery stores, and has an on-site restaurant with a bar with excellent food. This will be my 1st choice to stay everytime I can and visit family."

Scottish Fairway Inn

Scottish Fairway Inn

8/10 Good
"I knew that this was a 'budget friendly' hotel. It was no frills as expected, but clean and comfortable. There is little sound supression from the overhead room which was noticeable, but once they quieted down, there was no problem. Please note that they add a $100 'deposit' to one's credit card which I was not expecting. I assume that will be refunded right away in my case. The motel was in a quiet and safe neighborhood very close to Monterey, which was great."

"It’s a fine place to stay for the price. The front desk staff wasn’t super friendly or helpful. The ice machine broke the first night we were there."

Monarch Valley Inn Marina at Monterey Bay

"I have to say, this property was not at all what I was expecting based on the reviews. There is no actual office and you check in INSIDE the gas station convenience store😳 Room was old...stains on bed skirts, scratches on door...but coffee maker, microwave & fridge were very handy😃"

Travelodge by Wyndham Monterey Bay

10/10 Excellent
"The staff was very friendly when I checked in. The room was super clean, the bed mattress was perfect, the pillows fresh and new, the hot water was the hottest I have ever experience at a hotel - and I travel all over the world. Lots of parking. And attached adjacent cafe right next door. A great stay."
