"The location was great. 125 steps to the private beach that was great to wade/swim. The complimentary breakfast was nice, certainly not gourmet...but plentiful and Filipino, with Western options. The staff could not have been nicer. Always friendly and caring. The owners dinner was delightful and delicious. The resort is convenient to General Luna with lots of nightlife and interesting options. Too far to walk, but a tricycle is only a few minutes call away and there was never a wail. The facility is certainly not luxury, but spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool is lovely and the grounds are very, very pleasant. We had a great time here...it's peaceful, happy and comfortable... "

"My friends and I all agree that Patrick’s Resort is a magical place. The traditional Kubo style accommodations made the experience all that more unique in comparison to the other resorts in General Luna. This hideaway is situated right in front of this amazing beach nestled among an array of Philippine “tuk tuk” and modern style boats anchored in the shallows. The real treasure of this gem of a resort is the resort’s staff and family who shared a hospitality so genuine and generous that left our hearts full. "The pictures posted at Hotels.com is totally different from the real or actual picture of the resort. The bridge is collapsed, no water in the swimming pool, no power or electricity, no backup power, limited food, rooms not well maintained, rooms not safe, jacuzzi is rusted, overall rate: worst hotel or resort. We can’t cancel our stay, we just left and get a new hotel to stay. Club Tara should not be operated and should be reported to Tourism or city because it’s really unsafe. Hopefully I could get a refund."
