"Approachable staff"

"You never really know what you will get when you book a place online, or if it will live up to the pictures, but, on this occasion it did and was a 5/5! The place was quiet and secure, felt like a home away from home and was exactly like it was in the pictures. It was very comfortable, the beds large and the living and kitchen space well equipped. Our stay had 30+ degree days the whole time with warm nights and we were in comfort the whole time new air conditioners. Definitely should be top of your list if you're looking to stay in Gawler."

"My booking got cancelled by the host on the day that I was about to arrive. Can you imagine all the stress that my family and I had been through trying to find a place to stay at the last minute? My holiday became a nightmare. Inadequate communication from the host, it always me trying to contact the host a day before the arrival date and on the day (we were driving from Melbourne to Adelaide). I tried to call many time but the host did not answer the phone and after sending text messages and screenshot my booking reference, I got a text replying that I cannot stay at the accommodation that I booked and paid for. There was no cancellation notice or communication from Stayz about this. Then I called to their customer support line but the operators (yes I call twice and met with two different operators, I was that desperate) were unable to assist in any way other than saying that they would send email regarding the refund which I still have not received that email nor my refund yet after almost 1 week from that day. Now I am waiting to see how Stayz would resolve this before further complain is lodged."

"We came from four different states. We were a range of ages from 8-73. The place was so well set up for our family. We celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas and being a family. The children enjoyed playing cricket and footy with some of the adults. The Bush Mechanic DVD was a hit as we knew most of the actors. Board games were played with much laughter and a little manipulation. Food was eaten in abundance. We really appreciated the fruit bowl, different types of milk and breakfast supplies. All in all a great four days."

"Fantastic hotel, and extremely comfortable room. Cannot fault it at all. The only issue I would suggest is maybe a secure parking area for guests. "
