"George greeted us before we even got out of the car! He was very friendly and informative. He explained parking and offered to help with our bags. After dinner we rested outside on the terrace, next to the relaxing fireplace. The room was spacious and clean. Beds and pillows were comfy. We even watched a movie before bed. This resort is beautiful. I wish we remembered our bathing suits for the heated pool and hot tub. We enjoyed the All-American breakfast (which did not disappoint) on our balcony overlooking the city with the Smokies in the background. It was hard to choose between soaking in the large tub or washing in the oversized waterfall shower. The custom embroidered robes helped us ease into our day. Loved the Jimmy Buffett themed decor. It definitely felt like we were islandside in the middle of the mountains. We will be back for sure!"

"Room was nice, you can tell they've been updated. Aside from minor things, we enjoyed our stay. Disappointed with the "heated indoor pool" as it was absolutely not heated. The water was freezing. Spa wasn't working either. No drink machine on site anywhere."

"The pool closed for maintenance during our stay. We were not aware of this when we booked. They drained the pool water out the back door to a creek. Meanwhile, the doors were open to the cold so we could not even use the lounge area. Very disappointed. This was our third time to visit the property. No problems prior."
