"The Old Bank in Cygnet was such a charming place to stay. The staff were genuinely friendly & helpful & we were made to feel at home. Everything we needed was provided & the room (the Stirling Suite) was beautifully styled. The ensuite bathroom was gorgeous. Breakfast in the adjoining garden-room cafe was superb, and the apple orchard out back was lovely to explore. The accommodation was well-placed for exploring the many niche shops in the village on foot. I always say you can’t go wrong in a town that has a good butcher, and in this case two! A pity we couldn’t sample their fine-looking products. We really couldn’t fault this place - meticulous attention to detail and great service made for a memorable stay. Highly recommended!!"

"Stunning location. We only had one over-night there but wished we could have stayed longer. It was after dark when we arrived so it was a glorious surprise waking to just how close to the water we were. Will definitely be back!"

"I only stayed for a couple of nights and would loved to have stayed longer. The cabin was great with a very generous selection of treats waiting on arrival. I loved the range of cooking appliances even if didn’t have time to use them. Diane was very helpful pointing me in a couple of directions related to my reason for being in that part of Tasmania."

"My partner and I stayed in the Lodge accomodation area, which was a self contained unit. It was very impressive and comfortable for the two of us inside and out. The best feature for us was the deck, which overlooked the water. We watched one of the best sunsets ever. And there’s plenty of wildlife around too. Highly recommended. "

"This was the ultimate stay for rest and relaxation. Was apprehensive about the road in but was absolutely worth it. The sound of the beach was so lovely. The hosts went above and beyond, house had everything you would need, even toothbrushes, and a lovely chocolate as a gift. The views were amazing, loved sitting and watching the water. House was immaculately clean and was very generous in size, especially for the two of us. Would definitely book again.One negative - we didn’t stay long enough."

"Great position with sea views. Well appointed home.Nearest town Dover has supplies in local supermarket but some might bring provisions if wanting more.Suggest those with mobility issues might assess if suitable as stairs up to top floor are steepish without handrail."

"My parents and I had a very relaxing time at Hideaway. We loved the seclusion of the property, the peacefulness and the deck and ammenities. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and additional thoughtful items such as containers, salt and pepper etc. The only thing we regretted, was not bringing meat to cook on the BBQ, however we did use it to heat our lasagna which worked prefectly!"
