"Good points: Friendly staff Good breakfast Clean-ish rooms Access to main roads Close to excellent Chinese restaurant Points TO CONSIDER Honeless rate seems high and the people are alllwed to stay on the premises and come in to the kitchen to eat. If there’s no food, they will sit there and watch you eat. Nobody tells them anything Kitchen staff member complain the whole time about restocking items. I think she purposed my tretocjer the paper goods etc f to avoid restocking hot food. There were more good points than low knee. But I will never go tk Louisiana again."

"The lady at front desk was so rude. She also gave me a card key for a room with a man in it! Scary. When I went back down and told she basically told me to be quiet! When I asked for the manager she did not. The managers name was on the wall but she gave another name. Lier. I wrote that manager and now I know why this hotel is a disaster. The manager stated she’d call me but never did. When I wrote again I got no response. This is a hotel with no management and very rude and inappropriate employees; it’s deplorable. If you work in hospitality act hospitable!"

"The room had a musty smell and there was trash left over from pevious occupants, water bottles, pocket trash. the beds were made but if felt like a lesser brand hotel. did not expect this from a marriot chain. I would not stay here again. I almost left the property."

"The stay was just OK. The pool wasn’t very clean. It had a lot of bugs and it wasn’t cleaned every day. The food you had to pay for it and the variety wasn’t well. They also gave us a raw French toast alongside that the hotel hallway and elevator had a strange smell. During our entire stay there we never got our room cleaned, even though we had the sign on for them to clean it. It took us approximately an hour to receive an extra pillow and cover along with towels. We had to sit all of our trash outside of our hotel door in order for them to pick it up, which is very tacky. The headboards in our room aren’t very clean either there was trash in the trashcan and a little along the rims of the bed."

"Hotel is undergoing renovation; the room was clean and comfortable. Television worked for 15 minutes after I retrieved a missing remote control from the front desk; WIFI worked; pool was closed (construction). All services were provided from staff including transportation to the airport at 3am with professional courtesy and quick solution. It will be interesting to see the changes the next time I visit."

"I can't say that we liked the property. Wasn't told that they were in the process of remodeling. Job materials scattered throughput the front lobby area. as well as the workers were using the luggage carts to carry their materials leaving one cart to bring in and out our luggage. Not to mention the cart had a flat tire. Along with that our shower leaked reported it to the front desk on Saturday morning as leaving t for a funeral. The front desk said he would report it to maintenance. That night the shower leaked all out onto the floor my wife was mopping the bathroom floor at 2 o'clock in the morning with towels. Along with the construction going on workers were parking in the handicap area of the hotel. A waste line coming out from the hotel was broken washing out a rather large hole exposing the broken waste pipes in front of our window and parking area. It was tough enough coming to town for a funeral, and having to deal with the lack of care for the people choosing to stay there. Some thing that we say we'll be back for"
