Overall not a horrible place. The place may be a bit run down, but it comes with the price paid. If you are looking for a cheap easy hotel this is definitely the place. Free breakfast too.

This place, the staff and the hotel were excellent for the value! They went out of their way to accommodate me, and very nice updated room with amenities. I am very appreciative and would highly recommend this Rodeway Inn

The property was very clean and in a safe area. The room was super clean with a few amenities. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room. They were also very clean. The beds were super comfortable. The air conditioner work really well but was in an awkward position. In a double room one of the beds block the Air and the bed next to the air get too much air. The television had very good content. Even though it says nothing about a deposit, the hotel requires a $50 dollar deposit. Overall this is a hidden gem in New Orleans and I would highly recommend this location.

Decent not really any complaints. Good for a quick stay, they are redoing the rooms the bathrooms are AMAZING! Light up mirrors with a defogger and clean tubs and brand new updated toilets! I know once they get the actual rooms redone there going to be 5 star! About a 20 min drive to bourbon street. And also there is no longer a pool but that was ok with us we didn’t mind! They did just let me walk off without giving my deposit back but that was on me and I did go back and get it but they don’t remind you so if your like me make a mental note to not forget about it lol but overall I’d stay again!

Disappointing and offensive. The woman at check-in could not have been more pleasant. From there, it was downhill except for the housekeepers' keeping me supplied with clean towels each day during my four-night stay. The phone was dead. There were no hangers. I went back to check-in and was assured that a repairman and housekeeper would soon come by. The handyman appeared promptly. In a half-hour, a new phone had been installed. He assured me housekeeping would be right up with hangers. Another half-hour went by. I phoned the desk. Someone different answered and said, "This is an INN, not a HOTEL. You want hangers? Go buy yourself some at a dollar-store." I have never felt so insulted at a motel/hotel/inn. The next day, owners of a nearby junk store contributed seven hangers, enabling me to hang up the pressed clothes I had for the celebrations I would be attending. One last note: When I opened the Rodeway-logo pen to write down the number for a cab company, the pen had no cartridge whatsoever. Oh, and by my second night, the number had peeled off my door and disappeared.

Nice but a few issues(pretty much most hotels do)

The check in was perfect. The girl at the front desk was quick and responsible with my info. I was impressed with the hot water. As soon as you turned it on, it was HOT!!! no waiting whatsoever. Looked like the hotel was under reconstruction/remodeling. The one that that concerned me was a gate you have to use your card to get access to the complex. But I do like the Safety Measure. Was wondering if I was in a bad part of town but I had no issues. In the morning when I was checking out, my card wouldn't let me back in so I had to go to the front desk to get it re-keyed. Oh and I went out to dinner the night I checked in. No ice machines outside or anywhere to be seen. The new lady(not the one that checked me in) was sort of non-helpful. I called around 8pm and asked her if I could get some ice since it was in the lobby. She told me No because the lobby was closed down at 6pm. I thought, WOW<, she's acting up and won't let someone in the lobby that is staying in the hotel for ice??? I finally talked her into it. When I got to the lobby, I asked where the ice was. She just pointed and said Over there. I looked, didn't see, asked where. She did it again. I finally found the ice machine in the hallway by the restrooms BUT IT WAS DARK...Almost didn't see it...She def HAS NO Work Ethic....Plus the girl that checked me in said her relief was running late. This girl with no work ethic! Other than that, I was fairly happy.

Nice hotel but service and payment processes help

They only use bank issue cards for deposit and to pay off room, no meat with breakfast, and I had to pay a deposit twice for work nights due to reservation mistake and they act like that’s not anything they could fix so just bad experience , its 2025 any card payment should be accepted if it goes through

Don't stay here

Had us in a smoking room. It took 20 minutes too get a different one. The bathroom door would not close and the floors were filthy in the on they finally gave us
