If it's your first time travelling during the COVID-19 outbreak, you'll notice a host of new standards and rules in place. Follow these tips and make your trip to Shire of Nebo go off without a hitch:

• Understand what, if any, restrictions or rules apply to both your destination and origin. You may not be able to travel depending on local circumstances, so remember to check before you lock in your flight.
• Keep your face mask on even during airport screening. A TSA employee will ask you to lower your mask temporarily for ID purposes.
• To reduce the likelihood of cross-contamination, place your boarding pass on the scanner yourself and then hold it up for inspection. Do not hand your pass directly to a TSA employee.
• TSA now permits passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on baggage. This will need to be removed from your bag for X-ray screening.
• To minimize handling during the screening process, place items such as your phone, keys and wallet into your carry-on rather than into the bins.
• If you're taking food on the plane with you, put it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This lessens the likelihood that a TSA officer will need to touch your carry-on bag or food container for closer inspection.
