"The New England was a lovely hotel, close to local amenities. The hotel was so beautiful with a cosy lounge which was decorated with lovely decor and furniture. The superior room we had was excellent in every way. The balcony had a lovely sea view. Good supply of tea's coffee etc. Bathroom was clean with a good shower. The host Audrey was a lovely lady who greeted us when we arrived. Audrey showed us to our room, and even brought us tea. Audrey was so friendly and proffessional. Breakfasts were amazing, using the best ingredients. Cooked to order. Overall are stay was the best. If we could move this amazing hotel to anywhere we wished to stay would be great. "We paid extra for a room with a balcony overlooking the sea - and so glad we did! The room was spacious with a couple of comfy armchairs we sat in with the doors to the balcony open just soaking up the sound of the sea. Everything about the hotel was well done - the breakfast spread was excellent, even the lifts came as soon as you pushed the button! But the best thing about it was its location, right by the sea and an easy walk into the lovely part of town with theatres and restaurants. Loved it."
