"I’m not a motel person but had a great experience. The best surprise was finding that even though I wasn’t able to book an ocean front room, the non-ocean front ones still have a beautiful view of the ocean! You can still see it from the window, you’re just not exactly in front of it. Also best, was the cleanliness— no ick factor at all. It was a very comfortable stay and traveling solo always felt safe. The general crowd/guests were pleasant, lots of couples of all ages and dogs. (I love dogs, so enjoyed seeing so many cuties). I met others who always book here when they visit Yachats so that says a lot. Trolley stop to the town center and Cape Perpetua also just next door at Overleaf. Very convenient. Enjoyed staying at Fireside!"

"Blue Bird Cottage was cozy and welcoming, we really enjoyed our time there, the beach access was literally out the back door, and tide pooling, dining, and aight-seeing were all very short drives away. Ocean Odyssey was easy to work with, answered questions promptly, and we're very clear about check in and departure procedures."
