"The lobby and library area are very classic and elegant. The apartment is well-equipped and exquisitely furnished. The location is excellent, situated on the main street of the commercial district and close to all major attractions. The breakfast is delicious. I will definitely choose this place again in the future."

"Great location. Rooms were spacious and guest kitchen was useful. There were no actual staff to help troubleshoot. Relies on virtual assistants. Unfortunately with all the granite and narrow alleys in Porto, phone reception isn’t great so that’s an issue. WiFi available once you manage to get in the building but that wasn’t great either and had weak security. I would prefer a human host."

"Stayed at the GA Palace Hotel for 5 nights in April 2026. Excellent stay and would highly recommend. Good location within walking distance to all major sites. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. On our first night we didn't want to go too far for our evening dinner but the hotels restaurant didn't open until 7pm, which was very late as we had been up extremely early traveling. Without hesitation the staff checked and the kitchen would open at 6pm. Very accommodating. Our room was a very good size, my only comment would be for more draw space, perhaps at the bedside tables and a chest of drawers in the lounge area rather than a side table to put all your things away and electrical items. I would definitely stay again. Many Thanks."

"I’m a solo travel and this hotel was perfect for me. The hotel room was a good size. My favorite thing about this hotel was the location! It was central to everything I wanted to see and experience and walking distance to the train. I also appreciated how affordable it was! This is an inexpensive hotel payment wise but not in quality. I highly recommend!"

"Clean facility, convenient bar/cafe, nice rooms with good restrooms. Highlight was the front desk staff, especially Mateus, who pointed out many local destinations and places of interest for us. Lucas, also at the desk, provided great service, along with all of the servers at the cafe."
