A lovely hotel in a wonderful area. Be aware that there’s no elevator so you have to be in shape to walk up to the fourth floor. The staff is wonderful and there’s a great café attached.

Great location in the heart of everything close to river, old town and iconic bridge. Cute cafe with great coffee and friendly staff, no lifts so be mindful if your luggage is heavy.

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. The location was perfect and near restaurants, the river, and the Dom Luis Bridge which is the best place to watch the sunset. I highly recommend this stay.

The hotel is so nice, it’s located above a cute coffee shop. The rooms are decorated so cute, the staff is extremely nice and the location is perfect, we will definitely stay here again.

Very beautiful building with stone walls and history that’s been modernized enough to meet our needs. The mod design to the place was fun. Being right by a main road meant more nightlife and more traffic noise than expected. Motorcycles were loud.

I really enjoyed my stay at My Ribeira Guest House! I booked a 2 bedroom apt for my family (4 of us) and it was great; the apt was spacious and clean with good WiFi. The mini kitchen even had some plates and utensils for us to use. The location is prime, and breakfast was a fixed menu consisting of delicious foods like fresh orange juice, yogurt with fruit and granola, coffee, eggs, and pastries. The host was very communicative with me and kind. Some things to note, there’s no elevator just stairs to all apts and the shower stall was a tight fit. Overall, highly recommend this amazing find!

It was in a great spot and had a wonderful view. You just have to go up a lot of steps to get to your room and that view. There is a wonderful tapas / Wine bar next door called the wine box, that I recommend especially if your vegetarian.

From the moment I arrived I felt like I was at home. The staff was super friendly, everything just as expected. The breakfast was fantastic and the room charming. the location was perfect, easy walking distance to everything.

The hotel room was beautiful, the decor was really nice and everything was clean for the most part.. I did find a dead wasp in one of the blankets though. The staff were all really helpful and lovely; I had a scary experience where my code didn’t work at night on the first day, so i couldn’t get in until another guest let me in. They were able to fix it pretty easily in the morning. Unfortunately, the downside to my stay was the noise outside. The hotel is right by a busy tunnel/road. Motorbikes rev outside, cars beep constantly, sirens go past every few minutes and the noise never stops in fact it gets louder at night. So I’m not sure if I would stay again, but it was still a nice hotel.

Absolutely loved it! We got there in the afternoon so we checked in at the cafe, the staff were so lovely! The lemon cake was delicious! We got in to our room and I was blown away, I loved the look of the stone walls and the huge windows with the shutters. We had a little kitchenette which was great for making some light meals and a nice fridge for storing snacks. It got a little loud in the evening on the streets, but once I fell asleep that was no problem! Will definitely be staying here again!
