We loved our stay at B the Guest hotel. The staff was wonderful, especially Piedro and Soraya! We were welcomed with special treatment like a tasting of Porto! Room extra clean and comfortable. A lovely stay here. A good-sized room and bathroom with a comfortable bed and mini-bar. Really friendly staff and a welcome drink with cake on arrival! They gave us good recommendations for restaurants and boat trips on the Douro River. We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is perfectly located to visit Porto on foot. The rooms are good and the staff is super nice and helpful. The parking via catarina less than 100 meters is not excessive (22€ for 2 days). I can only recommend this hotel

Nice place to stay. Quiet. Conveniently located. 5 minutes walk to the metro station. The metro brings me direct to the international airport. Only downside for some might be it has no lift. I am ok with this as the wonderful staff helped me with my big heavy luggage.

We had a wonderful time in Porto. Our stay at the B The Guest Downtown was fabulous from the moment we arrived to the final goodbye today when we left. The location was great. The breakfast team Sonaia, Carla and Carol were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and the freshly served food was a delight. With changes everyday. We were treated to a feast everyday to start the day off properly. We will definitely return for another stay when we are in Porto again.

Great welcome from Artur. Location perfect right opposite the huge market building. Sao Bento rly sta is 10 minute walk. Driving a car here would be challenging! City is compact and easy to get around on foot. Great views around the Luis 1 bridge.

Very welcoming and comfortable

Very friendly staff was very welcoming. We had a loooong flight. We got settled in our room before enjoying some delicious Port and cake. We received a map and personal recommendations on where to visit. Breakfast was fabulous! Would highly recommend. My son and I stayed here after flying into Porto and before beginning our Camino journey in Baiona.

Very good location. Be careful or you’ll pass right by it. The front door looks like a door to an apartment. The name is on the door. If you arrive before check in, they have a very comfortable lounge to wait at. A very convenient grocery store is just down the block from the hotel. Very walkable to many sights.

The hotel is difficult to locate, Google maps takes you to one street over. When you find the front door it looks like an apartment entrance in a row of shops. Then you have to climb stairs. But it is worth the effort. Great staff and service. Lots of character and very clean.
