"Plenty of parking next to hotel room. In my case I could see my motorcycle from the hotel window. Large well appointed clean room with excellent en suite. Lovely views over surrounding hills. Cozy pub with real fire. Good full English breakfast and friendly staff. All good thanks and would stay again. "

"Lovely location and staff. Shower was a bit difficult to get working and pressure was poor, but it's an old castle. Some extra charges for a cot, even though the room was booked as 2 adults with 1 toddler, not sure if hotels.com or the actual hotel's problem but something between them one way or another. Made the trip look cheaper than it was."

"My husband and I stayed with our two kids. We booked the family executive suite, however there was a ‘king’ bed which was supposed to be for three people. It was only sufficient for two to sleep comfortably. The pull out sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. We asked for a second one of these however we were advised they couldn’t provide us with one due to health and safety. There was ample space in the room for a second pull out bed.
