"The most ridiculous (non) check in experience I have ever had. Numerous attempts to convey I would arrive later in the evening and for them to make arrangements. They said yes. I arrived @ 22:05, and it was like Marie Celeste, the lights were on, door open, but no-one there. Eventually I found an English couple staying at the hotel, who helped me get a key for an unoccupied room, so I didn’t have to sleep in a chair in reception. "I strongly recommend this small boutique hotel. The strongest points are by far the Hospitality. Dacia is so lovely and friendly. She really cares about our needs. It’s very quiet and restful. Her son played piano a few times. Her mother prepares stunning breakfasts, different everyday. I stayed in the room with private balcone and an amazing view. Santa Teresa is a lovely neighborhood with great restaurants that are walking distance from the hotel. The area also feels safe! "

"Beautiful old style of a house. Located in Santa Teresa, a hill nearby Centro. Next to Sambodromo. The area ist nice and safe. The owner is a nice family, he and his wife run a good service . Room has to share the bathrooms, it is very clean so it is okay to share. The biggest room has aircondition and nice view. The buildung is old, the law protected from any changing. The owner has to ask for permission for any changing of the house. He is going to do more comfortable for this hotel."
