Very good location near the Copacabana Beach. The staff were ok but front desk are a bit unfriendly. The room is dark with small window and poor lighting. They charge for water and even for keeping your luggage after checking out.

About two blocks away from the beach, felt very safe in the neighborhood. Great food options close by. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs different sausages and lots of fresh fruit and bread options. My only complaint is the scrambled eggs were very wet but overall great food at breakfast! Room was a little small but very clean and nice. Pool was so beautiful and they have a sauna and place to hangout on the roof with great views. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff was very kind, attentive, and always willing to help. The hotel is also centrally located in Copacabana, which makes it convenient for exploring the area. Unfortunately, the property itself feels old and poorly maintained. There is a noticeable lack of upkeep throughout the hotel, with peeling paint, loose furniture pieces, and even exposed cables coming out of the ceiling in the buffet area. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing. Most of the food did not taste good, the eggs were cold and overcooked, and I even found hairs in my fruit, which was quite unpleasant.

Room was.OK . There was a.leak in the bathroom and they never showed to fix the safe. Bell hop and cleaning lady very attentive so two the counter guys, but the rest of the counter guys were not rude but appear very uninterested on their jobs. The location was good and the free breakfast was excellent. As for the Copacabana beach it was much cleaner and welcoming that the one on Ipanema. Uber taxis were very reasonable.

Sleepless Start: Hotel Needs Major Maintenance

My 11-night stay was okay, but more of a 3-star experience than 4-star hotel. Pros: - Excellent breakfast buffet and delicious restaurant food with generous portions. - Superb location: 5-minute walk to Copacabana Beach (Leme), groceries, restaurants, and the Cardeal Arcoverde metro for easy access to tourist spots. - Friendly, helpful, and compassionate staff, especially with issues. - Nice rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant with Rio mountain, city, and some sea views, offering great drinks. Cons: - Early check-in cost a full night's stay, forcing a long wait after an 11-hour flight. - First room (119) had poor Wi-Fi, a concrete view, and noise issues (loud music, tapping), plus a non-functional phone. It took six days and daily requests to change rooms for lack of sleep. - Second room was basic and run-down, with a toilet that never looked clean. Taps make a loud squeaking sound when water pours through. Wi-Fi was better but intermittent and slow for work. - Elevator breakdown caused long waits. - Gym was neglected with most equipment broken; hand spray was always empty. The hotel needs maintenance to live up to its 4-star potential. My experience was disappointing compared to photos and reviews; I'd hoped for a more relaxing start to my travels.

Had a room with 2 small beds. One bed had a mattress that probably lost a few springs, by the head area. That bed was very small for an adult. Room is small. Staff was great. Breakfast was excellent. The roling toaster need some fixing. Not hot enough. Very noisy people talking loud and screaming loud till 4am. Clientele has no respect for others Overall 3/10. Not coming back.
