"We didn't get the e-mail with the codes to the doors. The wifi doesn't connect to the internet. Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay. The place lokks abandoned from the inside. The room wasclean when we arrived. The inside of the place looks nice. "
"Staff were great! They allowed me to park my motorcycle in their garage. The breakfast was appropriate and staff friendly. My concerns were that the hotel room was very old and dated. The bathroom was not that clean and there was no air conditioning (it was very hot). The staff alone are worth staying there. "

"The staff took great care of us. Found us a late night taxi to take us to and from wedding at wine villa. Served Beers after bar was closed (fyi— the bar was never open). Made up the room even with do not disturb on door. Easy, close parking! "
Apartment Suite Azalea. Pool, panoramic view on the Chianti hills.
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing apartment. Super clean. Comfortable. Beautiful pool. Scenery was gorgeous. I’m an artist and I just stayed here and painted. There was a different painting out each window! Gabriella and her husband were very sweet. Tavernelle to your left when you exit. Barberino to your right. Both towns had restaurants and groceries and bakeries. Siena and Florence are both close. We were here for 10 days and it wasn’t enough. I would definitely return. "
"This is a beautiful, well maintained and well equipped property in a lovely location. The views and sunsets from the terrace are amazing. There are large ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms. The pool was perfect for cooling off in the heat. Filippo was most helpful with our questions. Thank you to Caterina and Marco also."
"We had a fabulous stay! Absolutely stunning grounds, amazing pool and pool area and our apartment was so well equipped. Very luxurious! We very much appreciated the bottle of wine and Olive oil from the estate and would have loved to do the winery tour if it weren’t for having the kids with us!
We felt we managed the perfect balance of relaxation with getting out and about and visiting places, it is in a great location to be able to do this.
The only couple of points I would suggest is more regular towel change would have been appreciated and a long handled brush or vacuum cleaner as 6 days without being cleaned (cleaning is weekly) is a long time with kids! "
"The hotel was good value for the price. The room was clean. The hotel is in a good, safe area. The A/C was able to keep up with the 98F temps outside. Check in was easy. The breakfast was very good. Parking is a little tricky but not to bad. The only issues we had with our room was the safe wouldnt work in one room even after they tried to fix it and there was no safe in our second room and the hot water in the shower would increase and decrease on its own. The beds and pillows were good. We would stay here again!"
"The villa was as historic as it gets. The views from the backyard were amazing. There was plenty of room for our family holiday of 8 adults. Everyone had their own space and bathrooms were plentiful. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with plates, pots, pans and glassware for all. Communication with the manager of the property was A plus and they even helped us coordinate an amazing birthday dinner on property. On the downside, the property needs a lot of deferred maintenance. We were there during rain storms and three of the rooms and bathrooms had large leaks which made everything in those rooms wet. Also, the humidity was off the charts which did not allow us to wash and dry clothes because nothing can dry in those damp environments. Additionally, it seems the house must have been left open because there were bugs all over inside when we arrived (and we’re from Florida so we know bugs). Also, the weather did not provide much opportunity to enjoy the outdoor spaces and the mosquitoes were off the charts bad. The location was also quite challenging to find so following the written instructions was essential with a minimum 25 - 30 minute drive to most locations of interest. All in all, we had a lovely time together and enjoyed Tuscany as a whole. There is so much beauty. "
