"Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a bit warm in mid June when we arrived and the house was quite warm. There is no AC. I think if host opened windows and adjusted the blinds it would have been more comfortable upon our arrival. I was advised to look for floor fans and only found one. The other days we were able to air it out and keep the temperature comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, fridge/freezer very clean. The beds were very comfortable. There was no TV in the main sitting area. The balcony has awesome views and we enjoyed sitting out there day and night to enjoy the birds, scenery and stars. When we arrived the covers for all the furniture had been blown off and there was a coating of dirt/dust that I had to remove in order to sit and enjoy. Again, if host does a quick check upon arrival, this could have been avoided. Overall I give it a 4."

"We really enjoyed the patio and being able to watch the golfers come by and watch the wildlife in the creek right off the patio. We watched a little beaver working along the banks of the creek every day. Inside, the house was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. And, if you are in town to play golf, this house is less than a minute’s drive from a great golf course. We would definitely consider staying here again if we visit Durango."

"The property is immaculately maintained, with an excellent staff and wonderful hosts (Jim and Leslie). Easy drive to Durango, hot springs, Purgatory ski slopes, etc make this one of my favorite B-N-Bs. The morning breakfast is just cherries on top!"

"Very clean and nicely decorated cabin. Very comfortable and relaxing time. Our host Julie was very helpful and left nothing out. Lots of birds and a lovely little creek to listen too. We will definitely be back."

Beautiful Rustic Mountain Home

"Our stay in Mike and Debbie’s cabin was wonderful! The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and had little touches like welcome snacks by the coffee bar and blankets to use on cool mornings/evenings. It was a short drive to Durango for activities and had the most beautiful view of the Mountains. Our family loved the pool table, game room and hot tub as a great escape from screens and time together. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with any questions. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
