Excellent hotel, location was walking distance to Union Square. Nice large clean room with good coffee, tea and fridge. Friendly helpful staff. Water bottles and free refills at reception were great. The gym is new, huge, fully equiped and better than real clubs. Target supermarket nearby. Immediate area was safe but avoid going past 4th street.

Excellent front of house staff. Breakfast include was very good. Looked after bags pre and post check in and out for no charge. Perfect location for those watching a Giants game

This was our second stay at the Orchard Garden Hotel and we will be back. The standard rooms are very quiet, spacious, relaxing, with coffee maker, fridge and aircon. Great sleep every night! Everything is of high quality and comfort, beds, linen, toiletries, service. Location is very central, right next to Chinatown and only few mins walk from eateries and public transport. We never felt unsafe in the surrounding area. Really, what more do you need for a nice, relaxing holiday?

Great location, beautiful hotel

Perfect location, the room was such a great size and loved the vibe of the place! The breakfast and wine and cheese were so good as well honestly such a cool added bonus!!! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Definitely recommend!!

Stayed here with our family of 5 in a suite. It was like a house rather than a Hotel, in fact it was a period house the hotel had joined on the back. Loads of room, and although we have to cycle through the one bathroom it was worth it. Full kitchen and utensils and nice period furniture. Was clean and was not musty at all which was pretty surprising. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and there is handy unloading area out front, and parking for $34 a day over the road. Would stay here again.

Staff are welcoming and helpful. The location is convenient to public transportation, there is a BART station just steps away. The hotel is within walking distance to Union Square, the Ferry Building, or for a stroll along the promenade with a view of the water. Guests of the hotel can enjoy 10% discount from the restaurants in the Embarcadero complex. One not to miss is the excellent Harborview Chinese restaurant. Nearby there is a bus stop that will take you to Chinatown. Inside the Ferry...

The location of the hotel is perfect, the hotel itself was amazing , the staff were super friendly and very helpful to my wife and I as it was our first time in San Francisco. Will definitely stay here again
