"Overall, we had a great stay at the RIU. The property was beautiful, the staff was friendly, the food was good, clean room, great service from employees and we truly enjoyed our vacation experience. The only disappointment was that for three mornings in a row, our room had no internet, phone, or TV service. This made it impossible to call room service or other hotel services, contact other rooms, or simply relax and watch TV while getting ready in the morning. What was more frustrating was the response from the front desk. Each time we reported the issue, we were simply told that “IT would be notified,” but there was never an apology, sense of urgency, follow up, or offer to help offset the inconvenience. I was not looking for a free night or discount, just better customer service and a genuine effort to address the issue. Again, overall we enjoyed the resort and had a good time, but communication and responsiveness regarding ongoing guest issues could definitely be improved."

"Rooms were a little older but very clean and everything worked and was well stocked. We were in a two bedroom suite with kitchen and where happily surprised the room even had a washer and dryer. Staff were all friendly and very accommodating. Lots of kids and kid activities. "
